Implementation Coordinator - Group Benefits

    This role provides support for local sales representatives through contact with brokers and clients to improve group benefits (dental, disability, life, vision, critical illness insurance) product sales. There are a variety of areas in which you'll make a positive impact to ensure our customers have a successful new business implementation.

    • Preparing and working with sold case submissions to ensure the highest quality information is received which in turn expedites processing and builds an excellent first impression of our team.
    • Excellent communications skills, good judgment, business sense, and sound analytical skills.
    • Environment where you could work on multiple cases at a time with the need to pivot quickly.

    Who You Are

    • Bachelor's degree or eight years of equivalent experience required.
    • Prefer 1+ years experience in group benefits services, financial services, marketing or sales, but not required.
    • Must acquire a Life & Health licenses within 3 months. Must maintain licenses by meeting continuing education requirements.
    • Requires strong planning, organizational, problem solving and time management skills with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
    • Requires effective verbal and written communication and relationship building skills.
    • Must be proactive and be able to accomplish work with limited direct supervision and general work direction.
    • Occasional overtime may be required.
    • Minimal travel including overnight stays for trainings (5%).

    Salary Range Information

    Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

    Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

    $24.52 - $39.42 / hour

    Time Off Program

    Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

    Location

    This role is works out of our Charlotte, NC office.  

    Work Environments

    This role offers the ability for in-office, and hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements.  You will be expected to go into the office a few times a month and will work with your leader regarding what days. Management reserves the right to adjust the days required in office.

    Job Level

    We’ll consider talent at the next level as an Implementation Specialist, with the right experiences and skills.

    To be considered, the Implementation Specialist would require:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years of experience in group benefits services, financial services, marketing or sales.

    Compensation

    • The targeted base salary for the Implementation Coordinator position is $51,000-$69,000, and is eligible for an annual bonus.
    • The targeted base salary for the Implementation Specialist position is $60,000-82,000, and is eligible for an annual bonus.
