It’s the sweetest time of year again here at Krispy Kreme! Our 10-week internship is designed for rising juniors, seniors, and grad students looking to make full use of their talents with a hands-on work experience. Throughout your time during our internship program, you will tackle meaningful projects that leave a lasting impact; you will receive support and guidance from your manager along with interaction with members of our Global Leadership Team. Your internship will continue to develop your business acumen and professional skills.

Krispy Kreme’s Operations Interns will be responsible for assisting the Operations team with special projects and tasks across almost all areas of the organization. Their responsibilities will be tailored to the intern’s personal interests as well as the needs of the business. Operations touch every part of the business and with this internship, they will learn that every day. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with leaders across the organization in our open workspace environment including direct, daily exposure to executive leadership and daily communications with our field team in shop. Interns will receive coaching and guidance on a regular basis to help them achieve their short-term goals as an intern as well as their long-term dreams as an operations professional.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Building and editing company wide communications.
• Working in shop as a liaison to the support center.
• Contribute to the process of a nation wide new doughnut roll-out.
• Assist in managing a companywide initiative involving landfill deferment and sustainability.
• Creating and analyzing companywide surveys and giving detailed reports on the information.
• Assisting and supporting event days and running giveaways and contests.
• Supporting large companywide programs and initiatives such as drive thru enhancements and waste and labor management.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

• Must be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university.
• Strong oral and written communication, organizational, time management.
• Ability to work in a cross functional team environment.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced and ever evolving environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Moderate proficiency in Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, logical reasoning and analytical skills.
• Ability to efficiently work in a hybrid (remote and in-office) environment
• And of course… LOVE DOUGHNUTS!
