Are you obsessed with how culture, creativity, and brand strategy intersect? Does the idea of helping launch a brand that's redefining modern dating excite you? Join Rivet as a Marketing Maverick - a high-impact role where you'll work directly with our founding team on real campaigns, cultural activations, and storytelling that shape how Charlotte's dating scene evolves.

You'll play a hands-on role in bringing our app to life across Charlotte neighborhoods, and digital spaces. This is about building one of the most talked-about brand launches in the city.

Who We Are

A stealth startup backed by tier-1 VCs, founded by a team with deep experience in dating marketplaces and consumer social products. We just launched at Gainesville and we're bringing that energy to Charlotte.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the Charlotte Launch: Work with the founders and core marketing team to strategize and execute Rivet's entry across the city, local influencer circles, and cultural communities.
  • Support Campaigns & Events: Coordinate activations, content shoots, and creative stunts that make people feel the brand - from uptown to NoDa.
  • Content & Communication: Help ideate, script, and manage creative content across our social channels - from trend moments to longer-form storytelling.
  • Market Research: Dive deep into Charlotte's dating culture, user behavior, and local trends to surface insights that shape our campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Brand Ambassadors: Partner with on-ground community leads to build synergy across activations and digital narratives.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze engagement and campaign data to understand what's working - and help amplify it.

Who You Are

  • A student (sophomore, junior, or senior) passionate about marketing, community building, student culture, or tech startups
  • Organised, driven, and curious - you can juggle digital and on-ground work and take initiative without hand-holding
  • Socially aware - you know what drives your peers, what they connect with, and how to speak their language
  • You have an opinion on dating culture (yes, this matters)
  • Some experience in marketing, creative production, or campus engagement is a plus - internships, clubs, content work, org leadership
  • Bonus points for content chops on TikTok or Reels
