Position Title: Finance Intern 

Start/End Date: May 17-August 6, 2027 

Location(s): Atlanta, GA | Norwalk, CT | Brampton, ON, Canada

Newell Brands' Summer Internship Program (CAMP - Career Acceleration & Mentorship Program) provides students with meaningful work experiences, professional development opportunities, mentorship, networking, volunteer activities, and exposure to leaders across the organization. As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting financial analysis, reporting, planning, and business decision-making within a global consumer goods company. Internship assignments will vary based on business needs, team placement, and individual interests. 

Responsibilities 

Depending on the team, responsibilities may include: 

  • Supporting financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and planning activities. 
  • Analyzing financial and business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. 
  • Assisting with budgeting, performance tracking, and decision-support initiatives. 
  • Developing reports, presentations, and insights for key stakeholders. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and financial performance. 
  • Completing a CAMP (Career Acceleration Main Project) aligned to team goals and business priorities. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. 
  • Strong understanding of AI prompts and platforms to increase role efficency 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint experience is a plus. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively. 
  • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
