Your Opportunity
EBSCO Information Services (EIS) invites you to apply for our Marketing Intern opening. Marketing interns will take on a variety of Marketing responsibilities and tasks to acquire and practice practical marketing skills, as well as gain experience using leading marketing techniques.
This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories).
As part of the EIS Summer Intern Program (beginning June 2, 2024), you'll enjoy dedicated intern orientation programming, experience the benefits of joining a cohort, and participate in enrichment events with fellow interns across the company. What You'll Do
With the guidance of a Marketing mentor, a marketing intern will engage in a variety of tasks and procedures to support EBSCO's broader marketing strategy. Such tasks may include:

Product marketing projects:

Multi-channel copywriting (email, social media, PowerPoint, internal newsletters)

Product literature review and updates
-
Marketing campaign support and reporting

Research projects:
-
Market research/surveys related to products, AI, digital marketing/advertising, best practices

Interviews
-
Internal information synthesis and alignment

System maintenance projects:
-
Tactic audits and recommendations for improving outcomes

Analyzing Marketo contact data
-
Updating assets to align with business objectives
Your Team
You will be welcomed as a member of EBSCO's larger Marketing organization, reporting under the Partner and Large Customer Marketing team (a team of about 6 people). You will be a valuable cross-team asset, working not only with your direct teammates, but also with other groups such as Marketing Operations, Communications, or Product Marketing as applicable under the guidance of your manager. There will be regular check-ins and group meetings, ample resources, tools, training, and support to ensure your success as a Marketing Intern and your development at EIS.
About You

Undergraduate student graduating December 2025 or later, eligible to work in USA

They will be a curious and enthusiastic problem-solver with a strong understanding of marketing principles.

This intern must be willing to collaborate and practice independent work, as well as learn and practice new industry-specific marketing skills.

Pay Range
USD $20.00 - USD $26.00 /Yr.
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location.
