Role Summary
The Strategic Growth & Operations Associate will help drive AfroSpace’s growth by blending long-term strategy with hands-on operational execution. This role focuses on business development, partnership growth, and optimizing operations through web automation tools to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and support AfroSpace's mission.
Key Responsibilities
1. Weeks 1-2: Partnerships & Automation
○ Identify and develop strategic partnerships with wellness organizations and community-based entities.
○ Implement automated outreach and follow-up using tools like Zapier and Airtable to streamline partner management.
2. Weeks 3-4: Private Suite Rentals
○ Create a marketing strategy for promoting private suite rentals, targeting businesses and remote workers.
○ Use web automation tools to manage bookings, confirmations, and follow-ups.
3. Weeks 5-6: Day Passes & Memberships
○ Develop strategies to promote day passes and memberships for wellness and networking.
○ Automate membership sign-ups, renewals, and personalized email sequences for engagement and retention.
4. Weeks 7-8: Residency & Open House Events
○ Plan and execute residency programs and open house events for lead generation.
○ Automate event RSVPs, reminders, and follow-ups, tracking participants in Airtable.
Additional Responsibilities
● Lead Generation & Automation: Set up web automation for lead capture and nurturing through email marketing and CRM tools.
● Customer Feedback & Analysis: Use automation to collect and analyze customer feedback, applying insights to refine strategies.
Learning Experience
● Growth & Operations: Develop skills in strategy, lead generation, and operations optimization.
● Tech Integration: Gain hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Airtable) to streamline business processes.
Qualifications
● Open to undergraduate students (no more than 15 credit hours per semester).
● Strong communication skills and proficiency in digital tools (e.g., Google Workspace).
● Interest in wellness, social equity, and tech-forward operations.
Hours Required
● Total Hours: 40 hours (5 hours/week for 8 weeks)
