Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy for SECU Summer Internship program, based on knowledge of programmatic objectives
• Formulate, direct, or coordinate marketing activities or policies to promote products or services in association with the SECU Summer Internship program
• Coordinate or participate in promotional activities, working with other programmatic staff, to market the SECU Summer Internship program
• Initiate market research studies, or analyze their findings
• Create promotional materials for internal and external distribution
• Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Web sites
• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts
• Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products
• Photograph layouts, using camera, to make layout prints for the SECU Summer Internship program
• Collect photos of interns (selfies, etc) from their work to create social media posts of them in action. Statements, etc.
• Develop marketing collateral from SECU-related content to be used in future programming
• Develop or refine all existing marketing and communication collateral for future SECU programs
• Other duties as necessary/required
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Must be a current undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a “creative” major or have a history of marketing experience
Location:
University Career Center – On-site
Hours: 38 hours per week, on-site within working hours of 8am – 5pm
