Job Description:

Undergraduate Admissions and the Visit Program are responsible for recruiting prospective students to maintain undergraduate enrollment. The Niner Guide Leaders perform operational functions in order to facilitate campus tours along with Summer Tour Guides. General duties for this position include conducting daily tour operations and maintaining communication with the team of student workers. This team is also responsible for assisting with check-in operations. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform the duties of Tour Captain, communicating key tour details with campus partners including Housing, Admissions Staff, Visit Staff, Front Desk Student Workers and Summer Tour Guides.
• Assist with Undergraduate Admissions by conducting check-in operations- for tours including welcoming guests to the University.
• Connect visitors with Admissions Counselors utilizing computer software programs such as Slate and NinerQ.
• Conduct check-in for prospective families visiting the University using Slate.
• Updates social media outlets such as Instagram so that the volunteer team remains informed about the University. 
• Researches and prepares special projects as assigned.
• Articulates the value of a UNC Charlotte education in a variety of forums.
• Other similarly related responsibilities as assigned or required.
