Job Description

The Marketing Intern will assist in the implementation and production of marketing projects and activities in support of the central marketing department. Support responsibilities may include administration of websites, emails, mailing lists and databases along with assigned support in the creation and distribution of marketing collateral including publications, brochures, fliers, promotional booklets and sales presentations. The intern will also conduct research projects as directed including analysis of markets and competitors.

  • Support marketing project execution including assisting in the creation of publications, sales collateral, internal communications documents and presentations.  
  • Track project costs and budgets and provide updates as requested. 
  • Work collaboratively across other functional departments to accomplish marketing goals and provide extraordinary customer service. 
  • Secure artwork and text for print and digital marketing projects. 
  • Proof and edit basic marketing and communications collateral including fact checking and verifying copy. 
  • Work with internal departments, suppliers and customers to complete marketing tasks including collecting information and gaining necessary approvals.  
  • Effectively communicate project status, updates and milestones to department management and key stakeholders. 
  • Participate in department staff meetings as needed. 
  • Comply with company branding, style and visual standards. 
  • Maintain and update files, databases, mailing lists, websites, intranet pages, FTP sites and spreadsheets. 
  • Maintain artwork and project archives. 
  • Update websites and email marketing databases. 
  • Provide basic design support including resizing images, organizing content and making edits to finished pieces. 

 

Experience in project management with a variety of marketing programs across different mediums. Proven ability to follow timelines and processes. Understanding of integrated marketing. Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
