Investor Relations Intern

Help Build Relationships That Power Real Estate Investment
Are you interested in commercial real estate, private equity, and how investment firms raise capital? As an Investor Relations Intern with Grubb Properties, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the team responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with investors across our real estate investment funds.
Working alongside experienced Investor Relations professionals, you'll gain exposure to investor communications, fund operations, reporting, and the day-to-day work that helps connect investors with real estate investment opportunities. This internship is ideal for students interested in careers in commercial real estate, private equity, capital markets, finance, or investor relations.
What You'll Do
Throughout the summer, you'll contribute to meaningful projects while supporting the Investor Relations team by:
- Maintaining investor information within our investor database and CRM systems.
- Assisting with quarterly and annual investor reporting, including investor statements and other communications.
- Organizing and maintaining investor files, subscription documents, and other fund-related records.
- Assisting with investor communications, including capital calls, distributions, and other investor updates.
- Reviewing investor documentation for completeness and helping maintain accurate investor records.
- Supporting internal reporting and tracking investor commitments and capital raised.
- Assisting with documentation related to investor transactions and account updates.
- Collaborating with the Investor Relations team on day-to-day responsibilities and special projects.
What You'll Learn

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business or a related field.
- Strong interest in commercial real estate, investments, and/or investor relations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively while managing assigned responsibilities independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with investment terminology or financial reporting.
