Job Description
A creative, artist-run non-profit is looking to hire an intern with a passion for and experience in arts administration and event production. BOOM Charlotte is currently planning its activities for 2025, and we are seeking a committed intern to help make it all possible.
The intern hired for this position will need strong critical thinking skills, commitment to deadlines, and creativity to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team. We are a small organization that does a lot of important work. We are very excited to share this launch with an intern hoping to extend their present knowledge and gain extensive online experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and post on social networks.
- Coordinate with the website to distribute content and share updates
- Assist with online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more
- Able to help maintain our presence on TikTok
- Optimize website and social media
- Perform keyword analysis
- Work with communication professionals to develop creative and exciting messaging and graphics that accurately represent the festival
