Job Description
The UNC Charlotte Career Center provides innovative career development services that connect students, alumni, and employers. Through the Career Connector Program, we partner with student organizations to embed career readiness into the student experience.
The Project
This gig engages a student leader from an Arts, Media, or Design organization to serve as a Career Liaison. The liaison will:
-Promote Career Center programs through creative outreach (flyers, social media, visuals, or short videos)
-Serve as a communication bridge between student organizations, the Career Center, and employers
-Provide feedback on how career messaging resonates with creative students
Learning Experience
Students gain experience in marketing, branding, storytelling, stakeholder collaboration, and employer engagement while representing their creative community.
Outcomes
-Increased awareness of Career Center resources among Arts, Media, and Design students
-One student serves as a visible ambassador for career readiness and employer connections within their organization
