Charlotte Symphony Orchestra Operations Internship

Summary:  The Operations Intern will support the Director of Orchestra Operations, Director of Artistic Planning, and Operations Coordinator with a variety of administrative and production-related tasks. This role offers hands-on experience in orchestral operations, including concert preparation, artist services, and backstage support. There may also be opportunities to observe rehearsals and performances.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with creating and updating stage plots and “run of show” documents 
• Help track and update internal documents, calendars, and planning materials
• Maintain and organize departmental files and records
• Assist with artist logistics, including clearance lists and dressing room signage 
• Support rehearsal and concert operations, including occasional backstage assistance, as available
• Help coordinate materials and supplies for performances and events 
• Provide general administrative support to the Operations team
• Other duties as assigned
