Overview
A PPL Intern is a temporarily employed full-time college student in an accredited four-year institution of higher learning, who is offered a work-study program designed to give college students practical work experience in their field of study. This program often helps students determine career interests. Beyond the scope of the actual tasks performed, the student becomes familiar with a corporate environment and gains practical skills and knowledge to supplement their classroom experience. This position is responsible for assisting the IT Training Department to produce training documentation (job aids and videos) for IT and business projects.
Responsibilities

Become an integral part of project teams to ensure the successful rollout of new technology and major enterprise upgrades. Attend project meetings and work with team members and supervisor to determine project deliverables and timelines

Create and review training materials as requested by the IT Training team to ensure technical accuracy and to maintain company formatting and technical writing standards.

Use technology to develop high-quality and innovative training solutions that will promote and support the use of enterprise and business applications.

Identified projects include working with project teams for successful implementation of an upgrade to agile processes and workflows, upgrades to Windows 11, training documentation for customized Gas Information Tracking & Traceability application, Office 365, and numerous other applications (desktop or mobile).

Assist with conducting training as needed for IT project rollouts;

Monitor courses and inactivating client accounts in Learning Management System;

Interact with business clients and developers to create, edit, and post training documentation on the company's internal website

Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
-
Completed freshman year of undergraduate studies with declared major in Business, Education, Information Technology, Communications, Journalism, or another related field.

Minimum 3.00 GPA.

Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, experience in Publisher and Excel preferred.

Experience with mobile applications.

Comfortable speaking in front of groups of people.

Ability to work well on teams and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Possess leadership skills.

Remote Work
