Job Description
The UNC Charlotte Career Center provides innovative career development services that connect students, alumni, and employers. Through the Career Connector Program, we partner with student organizations to embed career readiness into the student experience.
The Project
The Career Center partners with campus organizations to prepare students for professional success through experiential learning and employer engagement.
This gig engages a student leader from a business-related organization to serve as a Career Liaison. The liaison will:
-Promote workshops, career fairs, and employer sessions
-Share Career Center resources during organization meetings
-Collect student feedback on career interests and needs
-Act as a connection point between student organizations, the Career Center, and employers
Learning Experience
Students build skills in communication, leadership, professional networking, and employer engagement.
Outcomes
-Stronger engagement between business-focused student organizations, the Career Center, and employers
-One student gains applied leadership experience aligned with business careers
