Job Description
Pierson Wireless is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the successful planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of wireless infrastructure projects. This position serves as an important connection between project leadership, field teams, engineering, customers, contractors, vendors, and internal support departments.
The Program Coordinator helps ensure projects remain organized, properly documented, and aligned with schedules and customer expectations. Responsibilities may span multiple projects and include project setup, scheduling, documentation, material coordination, communication, progress tracking, and project closeout.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and interested in building a career in project management, telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, or construction operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Market Managers, Project Foremen, field technicians, engineering teams, customers, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with project setup and maintain accurate project information in Pierson Wireless’ project management systems.
- Maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and outstanding action items.
- Track project progress and communicate schedule updates, delays, risks, and outstanding requirements to appropriate stakeholders.
- Coordinate project meetings and assist with documenting meeting notes, decisions, responsibilities, and follow-up items.
- Support communication between customers and internal Pierson Wireless teams.
- Help coordinate site access, project scheduling, field activities, and other logistical requirements.
- Assist with tracking materials and equipment to help ensure installation teams have the resources necessary to complete scheduled work.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including construction documents, installation records, test results, photos, customer documentation, and closeout materials.
- Review project documentation for completeness and follow up on missing or outstanding information.
- Assist field teams with administrative and documentation requirements so they can focus on successful project execution.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Engineering, Sales, Estimation, Accounting, and Operations as required.
- Prepare project-status reports and provide updates to project leadership and other stakeholders.
- Assist with customer deliverables and project closeout packages.
- Identify opportunities to improve project-management processes, documentation, and workflows.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, organization, and timely communication.
- Perform other project and operational support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in project coordination, construction, telecommunications, engineering, operations, or a related environment is preferred but not required for an entry-level candidate.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, field employees, managers, contractors, and vendors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn and effectively use project-management and business software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and follow up on outstanding project needs.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities and project schedules may change.
- Interest in telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, construction, or technology strongly preferred.
