Description
The summer internship position will support the general operations of QCRA, with a
specific focus on enhancing workplace organization for safety and efficiency
improvements, as well as executing events to foster sponsor relationships. Specific
responsibilities include:

● Collaborating with volunteers under the guidance of designated mentors to plan
targeted events to further improve sponsor engagement.
● Engaging in the preparation and delivery of events and programs to ensure
objectives are achieved flawlessly.
● Organizing the workplace under the guidance of designated mentors to enhance
safety measures and reduce waste to support the robotics teams.
● Providing support for the delivery of the summer/after-school program as
needed, and contributing to the development of processes for long-term
sustainability.
● Acquiring a comprehensive understanding of QCRA's mission, policies,
programs, and needs to effectively advocate for the organization's causes.
Qualifications
● Good understanding of using Google Workspace Tools (Google Docs, Google
Sheets) and/or Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
● Passion for non-profit work and commitment to positively impacting the
community.
● A commitment to and understanding of QCRA’s beneficiaries. Previous
experience in Robotics competitions such as FIRSTⓇ or VexRobotics is a plus.
● Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of
