Position Overview:

We are seeking an eager and motivated Civil Designer I to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of land development projects, collaborating with engineers, planners, and surveyors to develop site plans and infrastructure designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, proficiency in design software, and a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

•  Assist in the design and preparation of site development plans, grading plans, stormwater management, and utility layouts.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed drawings and construction documents.
• Conduct engineering calculations, such as grading, drainage, and earthwork analysis.
• Support the preparation of permitting documents and technical reports.
• Research local zoning regulations, codes, and permitting requirements.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in civil design, land development, or a related field (internship experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (experience with GIS, HydroCAD, or other design software is a plus).
• Basic understanding of grading, drainage, erosion control, and utility design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
