The intern will engage in project-based assignments primarily within SAP ABAP and Fiori development, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions. They will also have opportunities to support ongoing projects in S/4HANA and OpenText integrations, working on real-world applications of the latest SAP technologies. The intern's contributions will directly support the organization's goal of delivering efficient SAP processes, with a focus on system customization and a user-centric design approach through Fiori applications. This internship is based out of our Charlotte, NC headquarters and is an in-person/in-office position.
Responsibilities and Expectations:

Write and test SAP ABAP code under guidance, that align with enterprise solutions.

Develop Fiori applications, assisting in UI design and implementing UX best practices.

Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot and debug issues in SAP systems.

Gain proficiency in ABAP coding, enhancing backend functionalities within SAP modules.

Develop a strong foundation in Fiori app development, including UI/UX design best practices.

Build experience in project-based work, including managing timelines, reporting progress, and working in cross-functional teams.

Learn collaboration tools and methods, from Agile methodologies to code review processes.
Minimum Requirements:

Enrollment in a university degree program (bachelor's specialization) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, or related fields.

Completion of at least one programming course (e.g., Java, Python, or SQL) or introductory coursework in data management or business systems.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Familiarity with general coding principles and interest in enterprise systems.

Job Summary
As an intern, you will be working closely with Compass Group leaders to develop skills and competencies to be successful in your prospective industry. You will gain valuable experience in any of the following areas: operations, marketing, administration, guest services, problem solving, planning and implementation of innovative projects, and client relationship skills. This internship involves hands-on experiences which will provide opportunities for your personal success and development. This position is paid, but not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.
