About the role

The Systems Engineer provides consulting services for our accountsto help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Projects consistof AV hardware upgrades for corporate offices and conference rooms nationally. TheSystems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and integratinginformation systems to fit within existing audio-visual systems infrastructure.

This job is part of the System Engineering job function responsiblefor successfully executing and monitoring AV projects from initiation throughcompletion. The Systems Engineer will assist with the technology implementationfor clients including AV, telephony, sound masking, low voltage WLAN, DAS systems,desktop, physical security, and date networks. Role may require up to 25%overnight travel throughout the US.

What you'll do

Troubleshoot and resolve systemservice failures by identifying and analyzing the situation and providescorrective actions.

Develop, install, and test newnetwork hardware and software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and installpatches and resolve software related problems.

Monitors systems activities andfine tunes system parameters and configuration to optimize performance andensure security of systems.

Provides expertise on decisionsand priorities regarding systems architecture.

Engages with applicationdevelopment teams on current AV and IT infrastructure projects.

Facilitates the establishmentand implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design oftechnology solutions including architecting and implementation solutions.

Manages and maintains thehardware, software, security, and connectivity to the Internet.

Supports all the various webapplications and related systems such as search engines and web servers andmiddleware components.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to buildconsensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

What You'll Need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in theUnited States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevantexperience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education willbe considered

  • General knowledge of leases, contracts andconstruction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings

  • Audio Visual hardware installation and IT construction projects with occupied officespaces

  • Understanding in the areas of network setup/design, voice/datacabling, telephony, wireless, audiovisual, security access and monitoring,and sound masking

  • Experience in software engineering and design architecture using Bluebeam Revu and AutoCAD required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Project

  • Technical certifications in the specialty area such asCISCO or Microsoft

  • Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive andentrepreneurial mentality
