Job Description
- Display and apply thoroughly developed knowledge of project management principles involved in strategic planning, problem solving, budget analysis, and coordination of people and resources.
- Understand and apply basic concepts, practices, and theories involved in planning, design, development, review and permitting of interior renovations.
- Develops project directives, outlines, projections, budgets, estimates, amendments, timelines, resource studies, and strategies to meet pertinent building and construction rules, regulations and permitting especially related to assigned projects.
- Comprehends and understands complex projects and communicates analysis and understanding via written, verbal, and graphic representations to customers, user groups, contractors, administrators, consultants, architects, engineers, and a variety of campus stakeholders.
- Serve as a resource for interior renovation projects including, but not limited to, faculty/staff moves, FFE, building codes, etc.
- Assesses and reviews consultants’ proposed design solutions, specifications, cost estimates, etc. and makes recommendations for needed revisions.
- Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity and the ability to work independently, as well as with others in a team-based environment.
- Demonstrates the ability to actively listen to client needs and concerns.
- Applies appropriate expertise as required for consultation, investigation, evaluation and planning of design projects and resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned and/or delegated to support all PDC operations.
