Job Description

One of the premier music organizations in the Southeastern United States and the oldest operating symphony orchestra in the Carolinas, the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra (CSO) connects with more than 130,000 music lovers each year through its lively season of concerts, broadcasts, community events, and robust educational programs. 

The Marketing Internship is an exciting opportunity for someone who has an interest in the marketing field. The intern can apply their education, skills, and experience while gaining practical marketing knowledge in a higher education setting.  As the Marketing Intern, you’ll work on projects, assist management staff, and learn from a team of professionals, to support the many ways the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra (CSO) connects with music lovers across the region.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with staff on the promotion of the organization as it related to driving ticket sales revenue
  • Facilitate primary marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and maintain radio station correspondence
  • Plan and implement special event marketing
  • Promote patron engagement at concerts
  • Digital media marketing involvement
  • Create and implement marketing strategies and promotions
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Fulfill general administrative tasks
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications
