Instructional Design Intern

We are seeking an intern who is eager to contribute to real projects, gain practical experience, and support training initiatives that directly impact team performance in the field.
Who We’re Looking For
An organized and creative self-starter interested in gaining experience in training, learning development, or corporate business operations. This role works closely with partners across Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Operations to support the improvement and organization of training resources used by teams in the field.
We’re looking for someone who demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and a strong desire to grow while helping turn ideas into practical tools that support day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Do
- Support development and updates to digital training modules utilizing Canva and Articulate360 platforms
- Organize and format training guides, job aids, and facilitator resources
- Help translate operational processes into structured learning content
- Contribute to visual layout and usability improvements for training materials
- Participate in content review discussions and implement feedback
- Conduct basic research to support training updates and enhancements
- Collaborate with partners across HR, Learning & Development, and Operations
- Support onboarding, safety, and operational training initiatives
- Assist with special projects tied to training priorities
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Interest in training, learning design, or corporate environments
- Creative eye for design and content presentation
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively
- Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and operational concepts
- Demonstrated initiative and growth mindset
Schedule & Details
- Summer internship working approximately 30–40 hours per week
- Role based in Matthews, NC, with occasional exposure to operational sites or team meetings
