Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for interns for our Engineering Business Analytics team in Wendell, NC to support our portfolio of business, products and solutions. 

You’ll make an impact by:

• Create dashboards and reports that summarize data trends across the engineering functions  
• Execute process analysis and change initiatives within the engineering team 
• Support the creation of tools or methodologies that improve the efficiencies of current processes 
• Document the process and tools changes that are being made and evaluate future development activities 
• Update process flow charts and work instructions to reflect newer processes across functional groups 
• Develop training plans for both onboarding and continuous improvement of the team 

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student studying Electrical Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
• Ability to report in-person to the Wendell, NC office in a full-time capacity without housing or travel/relocation compensation assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Office 365 Apps, mainly the Automation tools within it 
• Prior experience with PowerBI, Tableau or other data visualization tools 
• Exposure to electrical or manufacturing industries 
• Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines 
• Good verbal and written communication skills 
• Experience writing simple Excel macros

• The hourly pay rate for this position is $25.00-$30.00/hr. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
