Summary

This position is located in the Office of Applied Science (OAS), Division of Applied Veterinary Medicine (DAVR), Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) which performs research to support the regulatory review of animal drugs and feed and the surveillance and compliance of such in the marketplace. OAS provides expert review of technical data and assists in the resolution of regulatory issues.

Duties

• Serves as a Biological Sciences Technician responsible for maintaining the aquatic culture systems used in the Center’s research studies.
• Coordinates with animal care staff regarding daily observations, weekend husbandry duties, and pest control.
• Responsible for maintaining culture systems, facility water degassing system, and facility life support monitoring systems.
