The Opportunity
Monarch is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist to join our Facility Based Crisis (FBC) team in Lumberton, NC. In this role, you’ll provide behavioral health and substance use services to individuals of all ages who are experiencing acute psychological and/or substance-related challenges.
***This is a PRN position, providing shift coverage on an as-needed basis.***
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including mental status, risk, and psychosocial history
- Identify presenting concerns, determine clinical needs, and assign accurate diagnoses
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy within a Facility Based Crisis setting
- Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support stabilization and next steps
- Deliver services using evidence-based practices and person-centered philosophies
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state and organizational standards
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in a Human Services–related field
- Active North Carolina license: LCAS or LCASA
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses
- Strong assessment, communication, and crisis-intervention skills
- Commitment to ethical, respectful, and goal-oriented care
