Junior Architect

We are seeking a full-time Junior Architect/Designer with a passion for design who is interested in taking on multiple roles from design and detailing through construction. Our ideal candidate should be design-oriented, organized, personable, and well rounded with professional Architecture degree from an accredited college or university, and the ability to thrive in a creative and highly collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate and assist with all phases of design
- Prepare design documents for permitting and construction
- Assist with communication and coordination of project consultants
- Develop presentation materials including renderings, diagrams, and drawings
- Responsible for drafting / detailing drawing sets for construction; taking ownership of specific technical design aspects of an assigned project
- Assist with the implementation of local codes, rules, and regulations
- Assist with construction administration duties and attend OAC meetings
- Research and identify products (finishes, fixtures, etc.) including updating the architectural product library and ordering samples
- Maintain timely, effective and honest communication with team members and clients.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-5 years experience
- Minimum education: Bachelor of Architecture
- Experience in architectural drafting and detailing preferred
- Experience with Revit, Auctocad, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with rendering software including Lumion or AI programs
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while exhibiting initiative (but know when to ask for help!)
- Strong organizational and verbal communication skills with an ability to follow-through
- Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly
- Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
