Embrace All Latino Voices (EALV) is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting and empowering Latino communities through advocacy, educational programs, and community development initiatives. Our organization acts as a bridge, fostering inclusivity and enhancing
cultural representation. EALV provides resources to minority-owned businesses, educational opportunities, and health initiatives across various communities.
Project Description:
This Gig Training project will engage a student in enhancing EALV's digital presence through website updates and a focused marketing plan. The student will develop and implement strategies for better communication of our mission and increased community engagement. This short-term
project offers hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing and website management.
Project Scope:
- Assess and recommend improvements to the current EALV website for a more user-friendly experience.
- Create and deliver a website content plan, including optimized copy and visuals that reflect EALV’s mission.
- Design a short-term (two-month) digital marketing strategy with an emphasis on social media and email outreach.
- Implement tracking tools for monitoring website traffic and marketing effectiveness.
Preferred Student Demographic and Qualifications:
We are seeking a student majoring in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media with:
- Basic experience in website management (e.g., WordPress) and SEO.
- Strong written and visual communication skills.
- An interest in community engagement and nonprofit work, particularly in diverse and multicultural settings.
Hours Required for Completion:
This Gig Training project requires a total of 40 hours, with a flexible schedule over the course of several weeks, beginning on February 10, 2025, and ending on April 4, 2025.
Learning Experience and Student Benefits:
Through this project, the student will gain practical experience in digital marketing and website management within a nonprofit context. Working closely with our team, the student will develop skills in project planning, digital analytics, and strategic communication. track website traffic and engagement.
