About AfroSpace
AfroSpace is an innovative incubation space dedicated to advancing the future of wellness & work. As a modern cultural cornerstone and a spatial
justice response to gentrification, AfroSpace supports diverse creative and entrepreneurial initiatives. We provide a collaborative environment for
artists, creatives, and community members to thrive, promoting cultural enrichment and social equity.


Project Scope
This project involves a variety of tasks designed to enhance AfroSpace’s marketing and operational efficiency:


Email Marketing: Design and execute targeted email campaigns to promote event space rentals, membership opportunities, and in-house events.
Utilize automation tools to optimize workflows and improve engagement.


Lead Generation: Develop strategies to generate and capture leads for our programs. Use Airtable to track and manage leads, ensuring effective
follow-up and relationship building.


Event Planning and Management: Plan and organize events or workshops. Coordinate logistics, manage invitations, oversee on-site execution, and
evaluate event success based on participant feedback.


Customer Satisfaction Survey and Analysis: Design and conduct a survey to gauge customer satisfaction and loyalty. Analyze the results to identify
key drivers of satisfaction and recommend actionable improvements.


(*Bonus*) Website Redesign: Enhance AfroSpace a Squarespace site, focusing on user experience, SEO optimization, and mobile responsiveness
to improve our online presence.


Preferred Student Demographic and Qualifications
● Open to undergraduate students enrolled in no more than 15 credit hours per semester.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace), and a basic
understanding of marketing principles. Familiarity with automation tools and Airtable is advantageous.
● Creative, detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about cultural and community-driven initiatives. Ability to work independently as
well as collaboratively.

planning.
