Job Description

The FM Tech Mechanical Trades performs under the direction of the Maintenance
Operations HVAC Supervisor.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Responsible for performing routine maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment

to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently,
and/or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.

Gain knowledge with electrical test devices to troubleshoot and repair HVAC electrical circuits.
Assist in diagnosing mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by

checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.

Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws,

drills, wrenches and electrical testing devices.

E.P.A. 608 Refrigerant certification preferred.
