- Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid (3x per week onsite in Uptown Charlotte Office)

Brooksource is seeking a Junior AI Engineer to join our enterprise banking partner’s Intelligent Automation team and become part of a cutting-edge initiative driving innovation in Agent Ticket AI. As our client spins up a squad to build an AI platform, you'll play a critical role in automating business processes, experimenting with the latest tools, and contributing to an AI-driven future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and enhance intelligent automation solutions.
- Leverage Python and associated libraries (e.g., Playwright, NumPy) for web scraping, data manipulation, and automation.
- Implement and maintain generative AI models for ticket processing and intelligent decision-making.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS infrastructure, including services such as S3, EC2, and containerized environments.
- Explore new tools and technologies to enhance the platform and processes.
- Maintain clear documentation and ensure adherence to governance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Programming Experience: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with its ecosystem for automation and data processing.
- Generative AI Knowledge: Understanding of GenAI concepts, with self-exploration or academic projects being acceptable.
- Data Science Interest: Background or interest in data analysis, machine learning, or AI model development.
- AWS Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of AWS services such as S3, EC2, and containers. Experience hosting or deploying applications on AWS is a plus.
- DevOps Familiarity: Ability to read and understand CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience is not required but desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with intelligent automation, business process automation, or similar domains.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code or containerization tools.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies
