This is not an IT position. 

The NinerTech Computer Store provides computer sales and service to students, faculty, and staff members at UNC Charlotte.  We are conveniently located in the Student Union. We are owned and operated by UNC Charlotte.

Our Sales Associates should engage in providing a complete solution for the technology we sell. The Sales Associate will work with other students for opening and closing duties, and point of sale transactions (cash, and credit card processing). Keeping the store stocked, cleaned, and straightened will be a daily task. You must answer and respond to phone calls, emails, and voicemails and deliver courteous customer service.  Conducting  product demos, attending workshops and resource SOAR Fairs will also be required. Previous retail experience is preferred. We are looking for highly motivated and driven sales associates with great people skills. Students in any major can apply!

You will coordinate with a Lead Sales Specialist who is your "subject matter expert" on all things NinerTech. You will report to our Store Manager. Teamwork and communication are essential in this position. You will be expected to stay up to date with current trends in technology, and monthly Apple Training will be provided by us. 

We have an Apple and Dell certified technician in house for repair service. As a Sales Associate, you will be required to coordinate with our technician to communicate computer repairs to customers. You will also be required to conduct light computer troubleshooting for customers.

The NinerTech Computer Store operates Monday-Friday with occasional weekend events. Sales associates normally work between 10-20 hours a week. We will happily work around your class schedule.  Summer/Spring/Fall Break Availability is required.
