Career Center; The Career Center is committed to providing comprehensive, innovative services and resources for students, alumni, and employers that prepare UNC Charlotte graduates for the competitive global market. The Project
Description of the project: This project proposes a 40-hour mural experience designed to provide creative students with hands-on learning. The mural will offer students a chance to apply their skills beyond the classroom. This short-term experience supports their growth in problem-solving, teamwork, and project management.
Project scope: 1 internal wall within the Career Center; one hallway wall that leads to the Clothing Closet. The muralists will design the wall art, following the design ideas that a team of Career Center staff has developed, then they will do the prepping, outlining, and painting.
Learning Experience
By completing a tangible project, students gain portfolio-worthy work, professional confidence, and insights into collaboration with clients or team members, all of which enhance their career readiness and employability.
Outcomes
2 students will work together to create a collaborative piece that emphasizes one of our top-utilized resources!
