Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for interns for our IT team in Wendell, NC to support our portfolio of business, products and solutions. 

You’ll make an impact by:

• Assist in the transition/migration from Qlik Enterprise to Qlik Cloud/SaaS
• Research and understand the service providers, cost components, & services provided/offered across the business 
• Analyze the impacts of major IT architecture changes across the business 
• Develop holistic data inventory of data assets 
• Facilitate IT communications with stakeholders 
• Create Power BI dashboards to enable analysis and digestible content across various initiatives 
• Research process optimization and proactively provide insight for IT initiatives 
• Maintain a document management system using Microsoft Sharepoint Technology 
• Advance an in-progress knowledge base initiative using Generative AI and Chatbot based on ChatGPT 
• Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from project team meetings  

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student studying Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics.
• Ability to report in-person to the Wendell, NC office in a full-time capacity without housing or travel/relocation compensation assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in any of the following programs: Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, SnowFlake, or Power Automate Ability to learn and adapt to new tools quickly Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines Good verbal and written communication skills Experience with MS office products with proficiency in MS works, Excel and PowerPoint You’ll benefit from:

• The hourly pay rate for this position is $25.00-$30.00/hr. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
