The Resource Group has a robust 12-week internship program for Summer 2025 beginning on May 19, 2025 and concluding on August 8, 2025. Our program has several positions available for hire. Responsibilities

The Resource Group, a subsidiary of Ascension, is a business transformation services organization that specializes in resource and supply chain management. This internship falls within The Resource Group's Operations and Logistics Optimization Solution. Operations and Logistics Optimization comprises six communities working together to align inventory and data management, operational procedures, and key performance indicators, and to deliver a cost-effective, highly-efficient managed distributor model. By combining a culture of hospitality with leading operations and logistics processes and controls, these communities of skilled associates ensure resource and supply management runs silently in the background and operates in service of physicians, clinicians, leadership, and associates. Throughout the 12-week experience, interns will work on unique personal projects, collaborate with other interns to solve organizational challenges, and learn new business & professional skills. Information about the responsibilities for this internship can be found below:

• Support stakeholders with financial analysis, project management, reporting, and measuring of data/statistics

• Develop support tools using advanced Excel, Google Sheets, and/or SQL skills for implementation support and tracking and reporting of performance metrics for facility supply expense improvement initiatives

• Interpret data concerning usage trends, economic and business forecasts as they relate to the performance metrics and provide recommendations to the Pharmacy field

• Consult and advise stakeholders regarding contract impact

• Assist in development of internal controls and validation of supply chain rebates

• Assist in development, analysis and evaluation of optimal item selection and stocking with our distributors

Requirements

Education:

• High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.

Additional Preferences

• College Junior year and above

• Experience in Pharmaceutical related programs a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
