Job Description

    • Develop and support the business for Desoutter products (including fastening and power tools systems used on assembly lines) to maximize sales in the assigned territory by actively engaging with key account stakeholders throughout Asia and companies with U.S. operations.
    • Build and maintain strong, customer-focused relationships to drive success, ensuring high levels of service for both domestic and international clients.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between Desoutter America and Desoutter Korea.
    • Communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse range of customers throughout the assigned region.
    • Understand and evaluate customer business objectives, technical requirements, and market dynamics, particularly those that span both U.S. and Asian operations.
    • Coordinate and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, applying subject-matter expertise to ensure successful pre-sales engagements with both domestic and international teams.
    • Employ a consultative sales approach by educating customers and developing tailored solutions that deliver measurable value.
    • Represent the company as a trusted resource by sharing knowledge, contributing to team growth, and upholding a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Serve as a technically proficient and dependable point of contact for customers across global regions.
    • Adhere to safety standards and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment in all environments.
    • Execute all responsibilities in line with company standards, with a strong focus on exceeding customer expectations both in the U.S. and abroad.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to support cross-border business transactions and customer activities, particularly for clients with integrated U.S. and Asian operations.
    • May telecommute but must reside near Atlanta, GA to visit customers
    • Requires up to 75% domestic and international travel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent based on combination of education and/or work experience) in marketing or related field.
  • Experience in CVIR, CVI3, or Connect systems (torque tooling systems); SPC software, Cp/Cpk, FMEA, ISO 9001, or IATF 16949 (quality control tools); Pivotware (process control operating systems); Nexonar (bolt-level control systems); and DeMeter (data management software)
  • Experience with manufacturing processes for the automotive industry in the Korean market.
