Monarch NC is a leading provider of high‑quality behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disability services. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises through our BHUC program.

Work Schedule:

• Friday-Sunday: 7pm-7am; **Anticipated Start Date: 6/1/2026**

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) on the BHUC team, you will play a vital clinical and leadership role by:

• Providing direct nursing care to individuals receiving Behavioral Health services
• Overseeing paraprofessional staff delivering supportive services
• Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments, including:
  • Physical and mental status
  • Health and medical history
  • Medication management and compliance
  • Level of functioning and service appropriateness
• Delivering crisis intervention services in urgent and high‑acuity situations
• Administering medications and monitoring individual responses
• Assessing vital signs and determining when emergency medical referrals are needed
• Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and accurately
• Educating individuals on mental health and substance use conditions
• Collaborating on discharge planning and referral coordination
• Carrying out treatment and supportive services as directed by the Prescriber or Vice President of Operations

This role offers the opportunity to combine clinical expertise, autonomy, and teamwork in an environment focused on safety, respect, and person‑centered care.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (required)
• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of experience providing crisis response or working in a crisis management setting
• At least 1 year of experience working with children or adults in a behavioral health setting
