Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the retail and corporate sector, is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic team. As an Accountant, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting the transition to a new Sales Accounting Application. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, adaptability, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $45.00/hour - $50.00/hour
What's the Job?

Assist with the go-live process of a new Sales Accounting Application scheduled for the end of March.

Perform manual corrections, reconciliations, and matching activities in the old system to ensure data accuracy.

Collaborate with team members to cross-train and ramp up efficiently during the transition period.

Support sales audit processes, including settlements and recons, utilizing strong Excel skills.

Contribute to the successful migration from old to new systems, ensuring seamless operational continuity.
What's Needed?
-
Bachelor's degree Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field

2+ years experience in accounting, tax, finance (public or private) or relevant experience

Demonstrated understanding of basic GAAP concepts and financial controls

Intermediate skills in MS office programs (Excel, Word, Access)

Hands-on experience with reconciliations and accounting processes in large organizations.

Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis and reconciliation.

Experience with order-to-cash processes; retail background is a plus but not required.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new systems.
