The Greenville office of O'Neal, Inc. is seeking a Jr. Mechanical Design Engineer to assist with the preparation of design packages for industrial manufacturing clients. This role will work within a group of engineers and designers to produce construction drawings, 3D models, equipment specifications, and related calculations and documentation for complex process manufacturing systems. This role requires a BSME (FE/EIT preferred) and exposure to design software such as AutoCAD or Revit, with 2 years of prior internship, co-op, or work experience preferred. 

Candidates must have professional presentation and communication skills. They must have the ability to work with other engineering disciplines and construction staff, as well as equipment vendors, subcontractors, and equipment vendors. This position will develop skills and familiarity related to process systems design, with the opportunity to move into project leadership and client interface responsibility in the future. We offer a flexible schedule that includes a 4 1/2 day workweek and hybrid/WFH options.
