About Charlotte Bilingual Preschool
Charlotte Bilingual Preschool (CltBP) prepares Spanish-speaking children for success in school and life by providing superior dual language, multi-cultural early childhood education. Our advancement department is in charge of fundraising, sponsorship management, marketing and communications.

The Project
As Charlotte Bilingual Preschool begins its renaming and rebranding process, this project will support the development and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy to ensure a successful transition. The intern will assist in creating internal and external communications, developing a social media rollout plan, and supporting brand alignment across platforms. Responsibilities may include drafting messaging, designing content, updating website materials, and assisting with CRM communications to engage key stakeholders including families, donors, and community partners.

Learning Experience
The student will gain hands-on experience in: Marketing and communications strategy within a nonprofit setting Brand development and rebranding execution Social media planning and content creation Basic design and web content updates CRM systems and audience engagement Philanthropy and donor communications

Outcomes
A draft communications plan to support the organization’s rebranding and renaming rollout A social media content calendar aligned with the rebranding strategy Sample internal and external communication materials (emails, announcements, social posts) Updated or newly created website and digital content reflecting the new brand Recommendations for consistent messaging and brand voice across platforms UNC Charlotte Gig Training Program
