Who We Are:

Teach For America is a national nonprofit that provides paid public service pathways designed for college students and recent graduates. We seek applicants who desire to build career skills, take on meaningful responsibility in their work, and contribute to systems change in underserved communities by contributing to students’ academic and personal growth, and deeply embedded in communities.

What You’ll Do:

• Teach full-time for two years in an underserved public school  
• Build relationships with children and families 
• Understand the social barriers kids face inside and outside the classroom 
• Actively develop your problem solving, time management and collaboration skills 
• Increase access to education and opportunities for students by collaborating with your community to address social challenges
