New Beginnings is an outpatient substance abuse treatment facility. We inspire clients to value their mental health and physical well-being. A significant part of our work is providing mental health and substance abuse (including drug testing) services to men and women on Federal Probation.  

We have an immediate opening for male associates to assist with and monitor the collection of drug screens from our male clients. This support is essential in aiding our clients to help recover from addiction and modify problem behaviors. The successful applicant will be a professional with an ability to analyze situations in a rational and confident manner, remain calm under stressful situations, and maintain confidentiality of client records.

The work includes maintaining an attendance registry with sign in sheet, verifying identities, and properly completing chain of custody forms. You be interacting with our clients, adhering to normal safety/health precautions, and observing them as they provide a UDS.  You will be required to:

• Collect specimens from only one donor at a time.
• Complete a Chain of Custody form and apply the appropriate labels to the container.
• Collect a minimum of the required amount of specimen to allow the laboratory to conduct the initial presumptive screen and confirmation tests; and
• Secure and seal the container.
