Department/Position Description:

The Segmentation and Modeling team is part of the ADUSA Digital Data Science department. The department delivers analytical products around customer digital behaviors, promotional offer personalization, various customer and store segmentations, promotional and advertising effectiveness, and forecasting for multiple functional areas in support of the ADUSA banners.

Under close supervision, the co-op position will focus on streamlining and improving the current promotional and advertising effectiveness products. In particular, the focus will be in expanding the products to include marginal effectiveness measures.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
  • Statistics/Data Science
  • Familiar with marketing concepts
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Presentation skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative group setting
  • Experience using analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, appropriately and effectively
