STW: Program Assistant

Enthusiastic about engaging with groups of international students and representing UNC Charlotte in a positive, welcoming manner? The Office of Intercultural and Educational Experiences (OIEE), a subunit of Charlotte Global, is looking for students to serve as Program Assistants for our upcoming summer and fall programs (OK to apply for just the summer, just the fall, or both).

Responsibilities may include:

• Leading & participating in cultural activities with the program participants (examples include museum visits, city tours, sporting events, & outdoor activities)
• Assisting with program preparation
• Assisting with event set up and take down
• Transporting the program participants in university vans to and from program activities 
• Serving as a contact between the program participants and the OIEE professional staff
• Sharing your experience as a UNC Charlotte student with the program participants, and learning more about other cultures
