We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate QA Analyst to work on our Quality Assurance team. The candidate should have an affinity for all things digital, a talent for critical thinking, and a genuine passion for ensuring user experience quality across multiple platforms and devices. The QA Analyst works within our Quality Assurance team at the direction of a QA Manager to deliver high quality, effective and reliable solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with fellow members of the project team to understand the scope of project and release deliverables.
  • Participate in test case design and coverage discussions with the goal of evaluating and improving QA coverage for assigned projects.
  • Develop, document, and execute efficient manual test cases that address overall quality and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify and document defects and usability issues including clear steps and data to reproduce, and impact on the system under test.
  • Working independently but must also provide progress updates to the project teams, noting any milestones reached and potential barriers to on-time delivery of tasks.

 

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Basic familiarity with web-based system technologies.
  • Basic understanding of the concept of user experience in web-based systems.

 

Education & Experience Required:

  • Progress towards a bachelor’s degree – Preferably in Computer Sciences desired.
