Job Description

The Academic Advisor will assume advising responsibilities for any assigned student within the Klein College of Science. This individual will also be responsible for supporting students declaring or expressing interest in majors and minors offered by the Klein College of Science. The advisor must have the ability to work autonomously in a complex, team-oriented academic office while also building strong alliances with faculty and other campus partners that support the holistic development of students. The advisor must have a commitment to student success and the ability to listen and analyze academic needs.

The Academic Advisor will also be engaged in other activities that support the orientation, onboarding, and consistent communication to UNC Charlotte students. These activities might include teaching and seminar facilitation, event participation, coordinated messaging, and other duties as assigned. Full-Time UNC Charlotte
