JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

This role is designed to support Happy Valley LaunchBox and the student startups at Penn State. The intern will play a vital role in the creation of digital content for our startup teams and in facilitating the execution of Invent Penn State's Summer Founders program. Responsibilities include working closely with startup teams to devise digital content strategies and produce relevant content as well as help organize and assist with weekly team dinners. Additionally, the role includes support for the execution of the Summer Founders Accelerator Program, helping ensure that all aspects of the program run smoothly and efficiently. We are seeking someone who wants to engage directly with the entrepreneurial community at Penn State, offering hands-on experience in accelerating startup ventures and fostering collaborative relationships within the LaunchBox community.

This position is suited for an entrepreneurial, self-motivated individual with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Successful candidates will be able to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

The internship is a paid position running approximately 15-20 hours each week.The position time frame is from May 13th to August 9th and will be conducted in person on-site at the Happy Valley LaunchBox located on the second floor of the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub in downtown State College.
