Job Description

Overview

We are currently seeking a SG&A Finance & Analytics Intern to join Primo Brands this summer in Tampa, FL . This internship position provides the finance and business acumen necessary to create a standardized costing process for the organization. Additionally, it will provide experience leading strategic analysis, providing detailed pricing reconciliations and process improvement suggestions. Possessing a strong service orientation, strategic business focus and excellent attention to detail, this Internship will allow you to evaluate our pricing structure to improve business results vs. objective.

Duration : Tuesday, May 26, 2026 - Friday, July 31, 2026. Must be available for orientation during the first week (5/26 - 5/29), final project presentation during the last week (7/27 - 7/31) and at least 7 of the 8 weeks between 6/1 - 7/24, excluding unpaid company holidays (Friday, 6/19 & Friday, 7/3). Any known absence must be communicated in advance to the Recruiter, Internship Program leaders and the Hiring Manager.

Schedule/Hours per week : Monday - Friday, 30 - 40 hours per week during the 10-week program. Ability to work in office 3 - 5 days per week based on individual team schedule. Remote work days and overtime hours must be approved in advance by your Manager.

Eligibility : Ability to commute to the Primo Brands Headquarters in Tampa, FL throughout the program. Some travel may be required, including overnight. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field at an accredited institution. Junior undergraduate standing preferred; motivated candidates at other academic levels will also be considered. This internship is designed as a paid professional experience and does not include academic credit.

Compensation: $24.00 / hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

The Accounting internship will provide an opportunity to experience working within an Accounting Department by assisting with accounting functions to include but not limited to, clerical and administrative support in the following areas:

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • SG&A Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Assist in maintaining and updating SOPs for Selling, General, and Administrative functions to optimize workflows and ensure process consistency.

  • Power BI Automation and Dashboards: Learn and apply Power BI principles to aid in automating processes and developing dashboards for SG&A reporting.

  • Cost Center Optimization: Review and refine cost center names and descriptions, and assist in identifying opportunities for streamlining cost center structures to enhance financial clarity and operational efficiency.

  • Cost Analysis: Perform analysis of cost structures for each team by examining professional fees, donations, and third-party expenses. Distinguish between variable and fixed costs to support effective decision-making.

  • Vendor Contract Support: Aid in reviewing vendor terms and contracts, contributing to analyses that inform future cost savings, negotiation strategies, and renewal considerations.

  • Complete a capstone project and deliver a final presentation summarizing outcomes and key learnings.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field at an accredited institution.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with process mapping or automation tools is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
