Job Description
The UNC Charlotte Career Center provides innovative career development services that connect students, alumni, and employers. Through the Career Connector Program, we partner with student organizations to embed career readiness into the student experience.
The Project
This gig places a student leader from a social impact, education, or nonprofit-focused organization in a Career Liaison role. The liaison will:
-Promote service-oriented career events and resources
-Act as a liaison between student organizations, Career Center staff, and employers
-Encourage reflection on transferable skills gained through service
Learning Experience
Students build leadership, communication, advocacy skills, and experience engaging with employers while aligning values with career readiness.
Outcomes
-Increased engagement of social impact students with career planning
-One student develops professional skills applicable to nonprofit or education careers
