Monarch NC, a provider of high-quality and trauma-informed care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance use disorders, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Charlotte, NC. 

This is a part time position.  The work schedule is every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 11 PM - 7 AM.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct and indirect services, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, to children, adolescents, and youths in need of crisis assessment, injection clinic, or outpatient services.  You will perform clinical intakes with individuals requesting services, coordinate with screening/referral and individuals to ensure continuity of care.  You will also schedule individuals for the Injection Clinic, give injections of psychotropic medication, and educate and support individuals about medication.

To qualify, candidates must have the following: 

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Candidates must be a North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• At least 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents and/or youths with a mental health and/or substance use diagnosis.
